After the airing of the international event, there were massive controversial discussions on social media. Watchers of the Grammy’s turned to X apidly to state their opinions. Many of the Grammy fans disagreed with the fact that Beyoncé left with another grammy and leaving artists such as Billie Eilish empty handed.

Billie Eilish’s album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, with hits like ‘Birds of a Feather’, ‘Lunch’ and ‘Chihiro’, debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 and dominated streaming platforms. In fact, ‘Birds of a Feather’ became the most played song on Spotify in 2024.
Billie got a total of 7 nominations this year at the Grammy Awards meanwhile Beyonce received 11 nominations, with Beyonce taking the win for the “Album of the Year” award.
However, Beyoncé was more than excited for this award. Due to that she finally won the coveted Album of the Year Award on the 2025 Grammy’s after the last four times she was nominated.
She walked to the podium blessed, with her daughter along her side. In her acceptance speech mentioning she feels “very full and very honoured” & “it has been many many years”. Beyoncé her speech came to an end with her accepting her award through a hug with her daughter.
